This Authoress Hates Something and Plays Games

I hate gym.

I totally, absolutely, unequivocally HATE gym. I've already ranted about this before (look here), so this won't really come as a surprise to anyone.

What is that subject for anyway? I understand the need to balance schoolwork with physical shite, but isn't it enough that students have to lug huge, heavy bags filled with books up several flights of stairs? Besides, if students really wanted to exercise, then let them do so on their own free time! Don't force them to run a marathon*, lift a car* or wrestle with a lion*, and then give them an F if they fail to do any of those things.

(*all these things are exaggerations... or are they?)

What schools seem to fail to comprehend is this; sometimes, it's enough to be smart. It's enough to be able to solve complex Physics equations without having to write with a 10 lbs piece of chalk. If that were the case, we wouldn't have Professor Stephen Hawking - we'd have Professor David Beckham.

-----

In other news...

I haven't been updating much, have I? Yes, I noticed that too. 1 update for September, and 1 for October. It's quite sad.

In my defense - I was swamped with schoolwork. Reports, presentations, tests and homework and all that. Oh, and facebook games.

Facebook games are EVIL! At first you think, it's just a game - it couldn't possibly do any harm. But then you find yourself caring more and more about it with each passing day. Then suddenly, you find that you're level 30+ on some pet/restaurant/wizardry game and your days seem shorter.

I am at the very least, proud to say that I don't play Farmville. Even though I just created a character for that one last night. I won't play it, honest. It was just part of a deal with my friend when she agreed to be my neighbor in Pet Society (we both need the coins).

-----

I wish I could write something more substantial here, but I've got nothing. Yet.

My blogging skills are rusty. I shall start posting more regularly again. Expect me every Tuesdays, cause that's when I've got loads of time on my hands.

ThisHasToBeReallyQuickBecauseOMGI'veGotThingsToDo

...and I have to procrastinate!

Hello, hello. Nearly a month has gone since my last update. Things have been pretty hectic. Tests here and there, reports to write, projects to finish, presentations and all that jazz. In addition, this so-called thing called 'life' appeared and dragged me off to various places.

What has happened since my last post, hmm...

There was a Mensa conference, which was fun. The one thing I loved the most was that I could be as incredibly awkward as I wanted to and no one batted an eye. I love my people. It was a fecking IQ-test though, to find the place. I failed that test, seeing as I have the navigational capabilities of a blind tortoise lying on its back. But this story craves another post altogether, and frankly, I don't have the time.

The weekend after that I went to this anime conference. Twas fun! Once again, I love my people. I loved the looks on the ordinary people's faces as they walked past the queue. If facial expressions could speak, theirs would've likely said "WTF is happening??!" I can't blame them. It's not everyday you see Batman, various anime characters, vampires, zombies, ninjas and Darth Vader standing in line outside a building.

Booty shall be listed some other time.

And oh, yeah. This happened:

Omg I found my father!!!

So basically, I've got a bunch of books I want to read, a bunch of TV shows I want to catch up on, a bunch of anime series I want to watch and etc. But I can't...

...because of T.E.E.S.

But all is not lost, for I have found a new ally! Her name is Coffee, and she is my friend.

Gotta go now, I have a test tomorrow and 21 pages left to read.

COFFEE!!!

PS: We watched Persuasion (2007) in English class, and it's safe to say I've fallen in love with another one of Ms Austen's men. I also loved a line from the blurb at the back of the book... So melodic, so beautiful. It shall be my parting quote for now.

A love story tinged with the heartache of missed opportunities.

Excuses and Stories

So hello. It's been a while.

I could pretend that I've been kept busy by T.E.E.S. and so on, but really, I've only got my own laziness to blame. Well that, and Mock The Week... and MLIA... and those shiny online games. T.E.E.S. is partially to blame too, to be quite honest, as this past month I've been doing mostly nothing but running around trying to meet deadlines. But it's my autumn break! So finally, I can sit down and relax!

...not really, I've got shiteloads of things that are due after autumn break, so boo.

Quick recap of how my super-duper-über-extra-amazingly-fantastically-fabulously-fascinating life has played out:

Biology excursion: I went to the mountains! It was awesome, except for the climbing part... and the report we had to write later. But really, it was awesome.

The View

Class picture: Since the powers-that-be decided to be lame and only take portrait pictures, our class took matters in our own hands and took our own class picture! Shame that some people were absent that day, but meh.

Coffee, loads of coffee~

History test
: There were loads of other tests, but this one is special. Our teacher has a nice policy that allows us to retake tests until we get a grade that we're satisfied with. I felt that my previous one was shite, so I actually stayed up late, and woke up early to review. Turns out, I didn't really need to retake that one because I got an A.

Presents: I got presents! From Bean! Oh joy!! :D

Gym: is the bane of my existence. We had to run 2 km, and I cheated by jumping on a guy's back. I felt awesome, until he dropped me 3 seconds later and I had to run on my own.

Hamlet: I'm actually pleased with my English class this year. It's focus is on literature, and so I stated last year that I would go bananas if we Shakespeare wasn't mentioned at least once. Not only did we discuss The Bard more than once, we also analyzed his sonnets and watched 'Shakespeare in Love' *and* 'Hamlet'. AND we played Jeopardy (which I totally won). AND I saw in our book that we're going to discuss Brokeback Mountain. So yes - I'm very much pleased. More than pleased, even.

Hugh Laurie: I actually dreamed that I was in a relationship with Hugh Laurie. Not Dr House - Hugh Laurie. It was weird.

Eddie Izzard: My tickets finally arrived!!! I'm seeing him this December!!! w00t!!

I met my soulmate: Well, not really... but there was this guy who was wearing an Urahara hat.

An Urahara hat

My friends and I spotted him when we were on our way to gym class. My friend jokingly wagered that she would give me a hundred *and* be my servant during autumn break if I went over and touched the guy. She must've underestimated the amount of caffeine in my system that day, because I promptly ran over to the guy and asked for a hug. I then noticed that he was wearing one of my favorite shirts:

But a lie told a thousand times can become the truth!

If that's not meant to be, ladies and gentlemen, then I don't know what is.

Oh, and I'm working on a great story. I got the idea while walking home from school. I hope to finish it sometime during autumn break... I've got loads of other projects I'm working on, but I'll manage.

Until next time!

The End of One Thing is The Start of Another

Aaaand my week-long vacation is over. Booooo! It was actually a bit longer than a week, but same difference - it flew by. Tomorrow I return to school. Back to hectic schedules and rushing to catch deadlines. But ah... C'est la vie.

Sooo... What have I done during the break?
  • I sent a letter to Bean!
  • Watched the OMGWTFÜBERSHOCKINGHOLYSHIT House episode, and posted a rather eloquent rant about it.
  • Signed up for a laser war session with the Mensa people.
  • I read two books! Veien til Jerusalem (The Way To Jerusalem) and American Psycho (fucking shocking book... I love it! I think.)
  • Finished a report outline for the first book.
  • Watched Kill Bill 2 and fell in love with it all over again.
  • Fixed my screensaver (which is comprised of a bunch of artfully written quotes).
  • Watched a ton of clips from The Late Late Show w/ Craig Ferguson (I love that man)
  • Got addicted to The Cure.
  • Taught someone geometry.
The aforementioned addiction to The Cure ultimately led to me listening to 'One Hundred Years' after finishing American Psycho. Baaaaad decision, I tell you. The crushing feeling of despair and angst will literally knock the breath out of you. Unless you're a masochist, in which case go right ahead.

And today I made mini apple pies! Lookit them! Aren't they cute? :D

That one on the blue plate turned out differently...
I ran out of pastry for the lattice pattern. Poor thing...

So that's that. Back to the battlefield tomorrow. Wish me luck!

I'm a killer. A murdering bastard, you know that. And there are consequences to breaking the heart of a murdering bastard.

School Websites Were Made For A Reason

Again, our teacher is sick.

Again, first period.

Bloody hell.

A little heads up would've been nice. Even just the tiniest heads up. Just before everyone here hauled their asses out of bed.

But bahhh.

Well feck it. At least I have my Red Bull!!

2 March 2009

Hear Me Half-Whine

I'm here. At school. Returning after winter break.

We're doing nothing. At the moment. Apparently our teacher is sick. A little heads up would've been appreciated. Because it wasn't hard to get up from bed this morning. Not at all. I mean, it's not like it's snowing heavily at the moment.*

(*That was sarcasm, in case the interwebz didn't carry it well enough. It really is snowing.)

I have a packet of iced coffee next to me. It doesn't even have any effect on me anymore. I've become immune! D:

I am trying desperately not to think. So as not to be depressed. Thin line. My toe is across it. If I keep on pondering my existence my whole body will follow.

I have nothing to be sad about. And yet I do.

Where's my Red Bull?

Fireworks Go Boom

The first firework has just shot up towards the night sky, filling the darkness with bright neon colors.

It fills me with indescribable glee!

More updates later.

Beware: "In revenge and in love woman is more barbarous than man."
- Friedrich Nietzsche, Beyond Good and Evil

[UPDATE: New development:

While the fireworks are exploding...

Impending action. A showdown before the final battle? It seems I may be forced to adapt a different style of combat. I'm used to planting traps and the likes - hitting people when they least expect it. I don't usually fight directly...

But ahh... Times change, people must change as well. It's time for me to stand my ground.

Again, more updates later.]

[UPDATE: Newer development:

It seems this game will go on for a little bit longer.

But that's fine. Meanwhile, I'll just keep the champagne in the fridge.

Is third time really the charm?]

[UPDATE: Ramblings:

I may have to convert some of the fireworks into firearms.

Whatever. I have my mother's blessing to continue fighting.

My sun told me to wait. But my sun didn't explicitly tell me to stop either.]

Fireworks

Today be fireworks.

I shall update later.

There is happiness for those who accept their fate.
There is GLORY for those who resist their fate.

[UPDATE:

The fuse has been lit. People applauded and cheered.

Now to sit back and wait.]

My Hand Met A Flying Ball

So I'm procrastinating again. But meh, who cares?

A story:

Once upon a time, in an old dungeon in an undisclosed location, there was a committee. This committee was comprised of several evil tyrants who had control over all the school systems in the world. These evil group of tyrants were the ones who decided what was to be taught in which school, which teachers were to be hired, and other shite like that.

After having just decreed that Mathematics was to be taught in the most boring way possible by the fiercest, foulest, evilest teachers ever, one of the evil tyrants brought up an issue. This particular evil tyrant was also a philosopher.

He said, "Gentlemen. There is one more thing we need to discuss. Indeed, we have already passed laws and regulations that will surely infuriate each and every student in existence. But it is not enough - we need to do more. All these restrictions that we have passed, they will forget in an instance when in the company of fellow students. No, we need something. Something that will remind them of just how cruel the universe is. We need something that will strip them of any ounce of self-confidence they might be able to gain from the other subjects.

Therefore, I propose the creation of another subject - Gym.

Yes, dear members of This League of Incredibly Fatheaded Tyrants. With this subject, we shall force the asthmatics to run, the short people to jump twice their own height, the skinny people to lift more than thrice their own body weight. With this subject, we shall injure them! With this subject, we shall remind them that no, life is not fair, there is no sense in even trying. With this subject - we shall finally crush their spirits once and for all!"

And the other tyrants jumped to their feet and applauded loudly. Yes, yes they'll create this subject, they cried. They shall make it obligatory, and they shall make it the one subject that students cannot drop.

At this, the meeting ended. The tyrants disbanded and returned to their respective lairs. There they all sat back in sadistic glee, grinning wistfully at the suffering they had unleashed upon the world.

The end.

-----

Yes, I was injured.

For the very first time in my life, I fractured a bone. True, it was nothing but a mere hairline fracture, but don't let facts diminish the drama.

My very first fracture ever. And I got it from playing handball. In gym. *makes a face*

To describe the event in detail: we were supposed to practice tossing the ball and catching it. My partner tossed it, and I was about to catch it. But gravity, the ball, circumstances, and Fate had different ideas. The ball met with my unfortunately outstretched finger and smashed it backwards.

I cried out in pain.

I wouldn't really mind... but it's my favorite finger! Tis the middle finger of my right hand. How am I supposed to surreptitiously flip off Kumajanai now??

This is what it looked like yesterday;

And this is how it looked like today:

Fun.

So today I went to the doctor. An awesome thing happened. The doctor called me in, and as I walked through the treshold, she held out her hand. I took the hand without thinking, letting social protocol control me. So yes, she squeezed my already injured hand. Fun!

Then she gave me a referral for an X-ray at our local hospital. I decided to go after school.

Around 3 pm, my mother and I meet in front of the hospital. We found the Radiology department, showed the referral to the nurse at the counter, she told us to wait. At this point, I was wondering if and when House would show up.

Finally, around half past 3, I got called in. They X-rayed me poor hand, and told me to wait again for the results. However, it being the middle of shift changes, it might take some time. Mother suggested we wait it out at the canteen.

Around 4 pm, I went back up to wait for the results. 15 minutes later, a nurse came out and handed me my results. She told me to "take the elevator down to the 2nd floor and follow the blue line." I thanked the pseudo-wizard of Oz and made my way to the indicated floor.

Well first I had to pick me mom up from the canteen. But whatever.

On my way down, I read my results. The word "fracture" stuck out like well, a sore thumb. I cringed.

So up to the 2nd floor we went. Turns out, it was the ER department. Great.

To spare you the long and tedious descriptions, I got called in to the Orthopedics section at around 5:30 pm. Nearly a whole fucking hour.

And what do they do there?

For fucks sake - I could've done this on me own!! I had to wait over an hour for this??

Didn't help that the nurse very nearly poked me in the face with a pair of scissors as she was trying to stuff the cotton back between my fingers.

Bahh.

I luff it though. xD

Life's journey is not to arrive safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Holy shit... what a ride!"

I Smell Something Burning

Something epic happened today.

I am not exaggerating when I say that it brought overwhelming joy to my cold, black heart.

It seems that I am not the only one playing the game. Others have their own version as well. They employ completely different strategies from the ones I use, but hell - they play the game well.

I predict that this will most likely change the course of the future, but I should also add that right now --

I. do. not. give. a. fuck.

I know where I stand, and that's all that matters.

To the people who know they're on the right side of the argument, who know their rights, who stick to their guns and do not back down:

Of Disjointed Musings

So the animal corpse we desecrated? I thought it was chicken.

It was actually sheep.

I left the classroom feeling a bit queasy. Ugh.
Fun though.

And the math test. Deceptively easy, at first glance. I thought, "Wow, I know this!" Then I went on and actually tried to solve the problems, and realized that it would actually take more than just knowing them to solve them.

Did that make sense? I don't really care.

Yesterday I read 'A Thousand Splendid Suns' by Khaleid Hosseini. Fucking A.
Brutally, horrifyingly realistic. I honestly don't know if I like it.
It's like a drink that's been mixed too strongly... I'm sure it's good, but it's too strong for me to actually decipher the taste.

My cat is clawing at my desk. Hmm...

I have a water bottle!
For a very special reason, I can't seem to bring myself to drink the last few milliliters of water in there. xD
Perhaps I should do it now. Refill it tomorrow.
If I die, then this is why.

We watched 'Tristan+Isolde' today.
I thought I would cry, but I did not. For a number of reasons.
One of which was the love-making scenes punctuating every meeting. Really now.

And a snippet of the conversation that took place between my friend and I:

Her: The Irish! They're evil!
Me: No, they're just drunk.

*sigh* the hair... perfect. *sigh*

I have a Spanish test tomorrow. I have yet to pick up the book.
Blah. Whatever. Que sera, sera.
Although there's a very huge possibility that our teacher won't be there, and we shall be free to do whatever we want to do.

This bottle looks really inviting. Should I drink now?
To drink, or not to drink: That is the question.

Hmm....

I'll drink. And I'll type my reaction here.
Already, me heart is racing.

jkhfkjawefhkjhewflkhaw (Reaction prior to drinking)
!!!! (My cat tried to reach for the bottle. I slapped her paw.)
*deep breaths*
fadhfljkawehakh (I still can't do it)
*more deep breaths*
I DID IT
I DRANK THE WATER
I DID IT!!!!

Of Tests, Thoughts and Bedheads

I just drank another packet of iced coffee. I'm waiting for the effects to kick in, then I'll start reading for me history test tomorrow.

In the meantime, I'm watching The Daily Show. Or at least, listening to it.

I had a math test today. Never did I think that I'd ever take another test that would make me want to cry. Screw that subject!! My mother was very gracious about it though. I talked to her about it, and she made me realize that it is a part of the whole human experience to make mistakes. I love my mother.

And this thought entered my mind a few moments ago. I realized that right at this moment, something horrible is happening to someone, somewhere else in the world. Someone could be murdering someone, or being murdered, or waking up in a puddle of blood, or being rushed to the hospital with terrible injuries.

My mind comes up with these things when I am completely tired. I should start painting them sometimes.

And today... oh Elessar... the bedhead. The BEDHEAD!! Me thinks there is no sexier hairstyle a man could have than the bedhead. Oh dear Elessar. Oh Elbereth!

I should go and start reading now.

In the '60s and '70s, people used acid to make the world look different. Now today, people take Prozac to make it look normal.

I Haz A Crush

[December 21, 2008 EDIT:

After careful consideration, I have decided to edit this post. Yes. There was much wailing and gnashing of teeth on my part, because I absolutely hate it when bloggers go back to old posts and edit what's been written. But in the end I came to the conclusion that it's all for the best. I have divulged too much information here... *incriminating* information...

The thing is, I feel that very, very soon, I might have to let other people - people who know me personally - read this blog. And sorry guys, whatever I've previously written here; you'll have to personally pry it out of me.]

I haz a crush.

I'm in the early stages, so I feel quite giddy.

[This part is now gone. As I pressed the delete button, I felt as though I had also pressed a knife into my heart.]

A witty saying proves nothing.

[Damn this fucking mantra of mine. It's nigh impossible to get over years of training drilled into your head, I tell ye.]

English Draft

…our head spins and we think, ”Would [I] have done the same?”

We learn from such stories because unlike the character on paper, we [are sometimes privileged to] know more, and can clearly see the repercussions that every decision could make.

After reading dozens of books and stories, sometimes situations come along that are exactly like those depicted. We think back, what did the character do? And what happened to them?

Reading adds years of experience in the span of an hour. We learn a bit about how life works. Of course there are no wizards or trolls or talking polar bears in real life. But the real message is there; if we know where to look. It’s in between the lines.

More often than not, books are written to tackle certain issues. For instance, Mark Twain’s “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” was written (to handle the issue of slavery.)

Sometimes the author is gracious enough to spell out things for us, thereby sparing us the tedious task of dissecting the words to find the nuggets of wisdom carefully engraved in them.

(I don’t mean to end this piece with a cliché, but it just seems so fitting to say,

Reading gives knowledge, and with knowledge comes power.)

Harry Potter and Lyra Belacqua

I’m sure this has happened to you a couple of times when you were a child:

You’re sitting in your room, huddled in your bed, reading the new issue of your favourite fantasy book. And then an adult walks in and snatches the book right out of your hands. “Why are you reading this rubbish? You won’t learn anything from this. Here; read this instead.” You stare in horror as the adult then pulls out a science (or a math) textbook, which they then place into your trembling hands.

I beg to differ. I think children should be allowed to read whatever reading material they want. It trains their imagination

(You are now a blog post)

---

THE STORY BEHIND THIS:

I'm cleaning up the old files on my school laptop... erasing the useless stuff and archiving the useful ones, shit like that.

Then I came across that. And I knew I just had to post it. I mean, it was practically a message to my future self (aka: the Me now).

---

Today I went to a Karate class.

It was awesome.

The teacher was Malaysian. I like him already.

Definitely coming back.

Now I must leave. I switched this computer on just so I could watch The Daily Show.

I'm tired. I spent nearly two hours today running around a football field chasing a ball.

[EDIT: And in my tiredness I completely forgot to post a quote. If I'm so tired why'd I come back then? Well I'm a creature of tradition and shite like that. Don't even get me started on what happens when one disturbs my daily walk of meditation.

I'll just pull off a quote from the top of my head.]

Do you have any idea how fat you actually are - do you?? No you don't! Because your face is an island trapped in a sea of flab!!
-Dylan Moran

My mind scares me.

Today

First day of school today.

Same old shite. Class schedules, disgruntled students with half their consciousness still trapped in the vortex of Vacation, new teachers, first years obviously lost inside the campus grounds.

But my class from last year is still mostly intact, which is good. We lost 3 people, and gained 4. I also met an exchange student from Italy. I shall be keeping an eye on her.

Oh, and I'm very relieved that I won't be teaching Japanese this year. That's one responsibility off my back. Yay!

Ever since I started that Church of Aragorn, things started to look up. Maybe I'm onto something here.

Although, I checked Demonbaby today, and it's on hiatus. I screamed, "NOOOOOOOOO!!!"

Sadness.

Who else will do the (articulate) ranting for me, Rob? WHO??

And I've still got anger issues. That has to be sorted out. Preferably in the near future.

Oh and I borrowed The Hobbit today, from the school library. I said I'd read it today, but I mostly relaxed and dealt with paperwork when I got home... so. Ah well.

Oh, and the supposed 'heirs' of The Knight Templars are suing the catholic church for $150 billion. For 'assets seized by the catholic church seven centuries ago.'

I must say - I support their cause. But they're doing it wrong. They look like nutters, using that approach. They should've sued for pain and suffering instead. Although, would that work? I don't know.

Good luck to them.

To err is human; to forgive highly unlikely.

PS: I forgot to mention that Stupid Classmate is still in my class! So we might be blessed with more of her Words of Zen soon.

17 August 2008

From the ashes a fire shall be woken...

A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.

Hail Elessar!

But sadly, even though the title is a line from The Riddle of Strider, I use it not to refer to him. I'm actually thinking of the impending responsibilities and various other duties that I have to face.

I quake in anticipation of the heavy workload that is about to be dumped on me. May the pouring be gentle.

But on a different, happier note - I dreamed of MonaBoyd last night!!! YAY!
I dreamed I hugged them. Both!! A MonaBoyd hug! The elation and the actual, indescribable emotion that coursed through my veins when I hugged them still lingers. I smile.

And I've decided to resurrect an old tradition from when I started blogging. A quote, I shall end with one.
I guess this is only fair because I've stopped using the "Date & Mood" header.

I know I should forget, but I can't.

Return of The Sun and The One

March 31, 2008
Mood: ('_')

Daylight savings time is now over/ has begun, not sure really. But the point is that the hours have changed again.

So I had to wake up an hour early for school today.

It was awful...

I think I started hallucinating. I kept seeing extra letters in words, kept seeing things that weren't really there... at one point I thought I saw an apple, then couldn't figure out where it came from.

And as a result of the DST ending/starting... well, maybe I shouldn't blame DST for this. I should blame the summer.

Point is, I took a nap around 6 pm because I was so tired. After drifting in and out of sleep (most of my short time awake was spent in a near-delirious state anyways), I properly woke up at 8 pm.

And the sun was still out.

I was like "....." and kept looking at the clock to make sure it was indeed 8 pm, and NOT 3 pm. Because I swear that's what the light was like.

I need to get thicker curtains. Ones that REALLY block out the light. Right now it's a bohemish type thing.

But I have to go, for there is a test tomorrow that I still need to read for. Before I leave though, I give you this conversation between The One in my class and our (awesome) Social Studies teacher.

A little background story;

Our teacher was discussing a theory. The theory says that those countries who have been involved in war may have destroyed their genetic legacy because the strongest and smartest people were sent to war, and very few, if any at all, of those men returned. Hence, those left may have been the ones with the inferior genes.
(NOTE: this is JUST a theory. I'm not claiming this is right, neither was our teacher. He just thought it was interesting enough to share.)

(After the teacher has gone through a very long explanation involving the Theory of Evolution and the "Survival of the fittest" rule... TWICE)

The One: But what does that have to do with genes?
Everyone: (-__-)

(The teacher explained the whole thing again.)

The One: OMG, like only nerds think of that!
Everyone: (T_T)
Teacher: *smiling* Well what is a nerd? What is the definition for a nerd? Isn't a nerd someone who is very intelligent and yet lacks some basic social skills? So is talking about genes socially unacceptable?
The One: ...
Guy#1: Owned.

Two Classes, One Rant

January 30, 2008
Mood: soooo sleeepppyyyyyyyy.......

I am sleepy.

For serious.

(Feck, did I just use THAT title?? Damn, I'm even more sleep-deprived than I thought!)

As you all know, I had a dream.

It involved kissing, and a picture. It also involved a friend grabbing the girl by the shoulders and shaking her to near convulsions.

It didn't help that he was giving me special attention and tracking my progress in class. All the while my inner self was screaming "Don't get any closer. Back off! Don't get any-- DAMN!!"

Ah... life.

I am now in the library. Time went by... well, time went by. I don't really know what I'm trying to say, so yeah. I am supposed to write an essay about a poem, but I can't be bothered. At least not yet. I do have to finish this though...

Our library is never silent. I wonder why that is?

I wish we could eat here...

Seriously, it would be THE perfect place if we could eat here. I mean, this library was one of the main reasons that I chose this school anyways. :P

I want to write more, but I really don't think I can't write anything more that would at least resemble coherent babbling... and besides, I think I should save some creative juices for this blasted essay.

Hmm... I wish I had an extra chair to rest my legs on... Hey! The couch is gone! Where is it? What did they do to the couch? Oh, sadness...

Okay, I'll be off now... But before I go, I leave you this little insight into my mind. I wrote this yesterday.

So it’s Spanish class as usual. My teacher is in another room because there’s this reading test going on and stuff. The other students who are done with it are supposed to stay in this room and do the stuff we’re supposed to do. HAHA, I love it when someone walks in the door and everyone falls silent. It’s even funnier when you consider that the majority, nay – ALL of the guys are playing DOTA, and some of them have their sounds on and are cheering loudly. However, once the door opens, everyone falls dead silent and stares at the door. It’s really funny. I wish I had a videocam with me to record this. I should probably be doing what the teacher asked us to do, but I can’t be bothered.
One of the guys just shouted gleefully – “You killed him! Yeah you killed him!” This was followed with some metaphorical backslapping and some more gleeful “I stabbed him! Yeah!” Under normal circumstances I should be scared. But hey, whatever. Hang on, I think it was WoW… I could never tell the difference. I’m not really that well-versed in the world of gaming. The closest I ever got to being a gamer was when I started (read: attempted) to play Ragnarok. I did get to level 2 Archer and level 2 Thief… all by chance. xD Ah well… Now they started cussing the guy who keeps on going out and coming back in. They shouldn’t berate him. It’s really amusing to see all their reactions. Aewfajwehfaejwf… I seriously am sooooo SLEEPY. And our teacher is back. Our teacher is a German woman who teaches Spanish and French. Many hate her, because she dishes out “demerits” like candy. She has softened a bit though. Her eyes really scare me. I still am not sure if it’s DOTA or WoW. I’m leaning more towards the second one, but I can’t be sure. Alright, I just got confirmation from the dude sitting behind me, it was indeed World of Warcraft. Blessed be the ALT + Tab command. Mwah! Wow, one of my classmates has real BALLS of steel. He is playing WoW directly in front of the teacher’s desk. I really mean he’s sitting RIGHT IN FRONT of her. Balls, man. BALLS. I’m bored. And sleepy. I want to hibernate until winter break. I have Japanese class after the break. Dear lord, I wish that my other classmates would be there. Otherwise it’ll be very… awkward. True, I keep my poker-face on when in that class, but still. Ahh… so the dude with balls of steel utilizes the ALT + Tab command too! I got you now! Three of the hooks on one of the curtains in our room have fallen apart. It’s now hanging on only well, I suppose “only” is not a good way to describe it, seeing that it’s still tethered on 8 hooks or so. I am siriusly bored. I’d play WoW if I had the skills, but I don’t. I wonder what Herpes Man is doing right now. I just glanced around the room. The guys in class have this concentrated look plastered on their faces. It’s kinda funny. I want to sleep. I really do. Maybe the reason that I’ve been crabby these past few days is the fact that I haven’t gotten enough sleep. Perhaps. They say gamers have good reflexes. I wonder what would happen if I throw an eraser… Apparently our teacher can tell if we’re working or not by looking at our faces. Unfortunately, she immediately shot her own theory to oblivion when she said “I can tell if you’re on Facebook”. Well sadly ma’am, none of us are in Facebook. I am writing this post about your class, and the boys are playing WoW, and the girls are off playing other games. Ah well… nice try though. YES! Class is over. I guess I’d best post this and go to Bio/Chem class… But I can’t be bothered. I’ll just save this as draft first.

Ciao.

[EDIT: I FINALLY got confirmed confirmation - it was DOTA All Stars.]
